1. How big of a mess are they making? And…
2. Of course they picked the room with the worst lighting for me to capture their fun!
Undeterred, I followed the sounds of their laughter and and stopped in absolute joy once I realized what they were doing. For a moment my mind played an evil trick and cleverly convinced me that I what I was witnessing was just a preview of what is to come. Standing in front of me were my beautiful daughters, ages 18, 15, and 13-years-old. They were giggling, carrying on about clothes, asking advice on eye make-up colors, and giving me old, “Moooommm, you’re so annoying!” routine.
The truth is, while it was fun to see and think about what is to come, and while I’m overjoyed that those 3 have each other, a HUGE part of me is relieved that this sister/girly stuff is just beginning. I know those giggles filling this house are going to be gone much too soon, so I’ll savor this time with them. And maybe, just maybe, we should work on their make-up technique a bit before boys enter the picture.

I can relate to the girly giggles and also want to hold on to those moments! I also enjoy reading your MPMs for your great recipe ideas that are also WW friendly. I do wonder if your kids eat everything you make or if its like our household where I often am substituting a bowl of cereal or pb sandwich. I'd love to hear your solution to that or what works for you!
This brought tears to my eyes! Don't worry...when my sisters and I are at home giggles STILL fill the house at 30, 28, and 23. ;)
When did Addi get to be such a young lady? She is so grown up looking and all of them are knock down dead beautiful!!
