We got a lot done this weekend. Mainly on our little office re-do, which I’m super pumped to share with you. We’re about 36 hours away from calling ‘er complete. Well, mostly complete. You know me – I’ll be accessorizing/styling perpetually for the next couple of weeks. So stay tuned.
A few other things going on here worthy of mentioning:
1. We’re getting ready for our BIG Disney trip sooooon! Like, I have to start packing pronto. Probably no surprise, but I’ll most likely be taking a week or so off from blogging while we’re gone. As much as I’d love to have a few posts scheduled and waiting for you, I know that my priority is packing for the 6 of us and making sure that we all get there with underwear and sunscreen.
2. As if a room re-do AND vacation prep weren’t enough, I’m also trying to throw together a little birthday bash for our very soon-to-be 7 and 5-year-olds. We’re thinking a movie under the stars the weekend after we get back from Disney is just the ticket, but that means that I need to get my booty is gear and my party planning game face on.
3. I have all our meals planned and groceries bought to get us through d-day (Disney day/departure day). Here’s what we’re eating this week.
Monday: J’s on dinner duty, as I’m off to have dinner with friends at George’s Pizza in Pella. This is worth mentioning because, as far as I’m concerned, you haven’t had pizza until you’ve had Georges. Iowa friends, if you haven’t been there, I promise that it is worth the trip!
Tuesday: Buffalo Wing Turkey Lettuce Wraps
Wednesday: Southwest Egg Rolls
Thursday: Crockpot cilantro ranch chicken tacos
Friday: Turkey Caesar Pita Pockets
