We've had a pretty good week around here.  But oh.my.gosh, it's been exhausting.  Not for any particular reason, just the daily grind getting to me, I guess.  Every night I have visions and good intentions of a nice, calm, enjoyable bedtime routine for our kids.  A bath, some book reading, prayers, and good 'ol family time.  This week though?  It's been more of a hurryupandgopottybrushyourteethandgetinbedbeforeipassoutfromexhaustion routine.  Ugh.  I just hate it.  So, I'm vowing now that next will WILL be better.

Anyway.

On to our week...

Last Friday night we were out running some errands and stopped by J's parent's house.  We ended up staying for dinner (Chinese!) and some quality time with Mesha (J's dad) and Nuhawkwa (J's mom).  {Side note: Mesha and Nuhawkwa are the Native American words for Grandpa and Grandma.  Inquiring minds often wonder...}

Books in bed with Hawkwa...

Someone likes enchiladas...and the baths that follow...

I'm participating to February's photo a day contest and day one's theme was My View.  On that day, this was my view and I can't think of anything I'd rather watch than a sweet, sleeping baby cuddled in my lap.

Tuesday morning at open gym.

An at least once a week occurrence...

Ok, I realize there are a LOT of pictures of little Kai Pie this week, but that only makes sense because she is never more than 12 inches away from me.

I sort of forgot how difficult it is to go outside with a newbie walker who is learning to assert her independence.  Sheesh.

Photo a day, day 2: Words.  Scripture to be memorized (with some of my favoritest ladies)...

Oh you know you sleep with your little bum in the air too.

Baby footsies.

Kai and I would like to wish you a wonderful weekend!
