Hello, hello! How was your weekend? Ours week good. I wouldn’t exactly categorize it as relaxing, but it was nice nonetheless. This week’s weather is supposed to be just plain gorgeous with highs in the upper 70s/low 80s. But. Can I be honest? I was kind of digging the whole fall weather thing. I know it sounds crazy, but uber nice weather like this is just a lot of pressure. Pressure to be outside, engage in outdoor activities, wear out the crazies. Good things, of course. However, I was enjoying the no-pressure, relaxing days and evenings inside, cuddling, eating soup, and wearing sweats. I guess it’s a good thing I’m smart enough to know that these fantastic weather weeks need to be seized! So, we’re going to get out there and play at the park, take walks, ride bikes, swing on the swings, race in the yard. Heck, we might even head to the pool for one last swim. Our outside playin’ days are numbered!
Now, on to the important stuff: FOOD!
Monday: Crockpot Baked Potato Soup (clearly, I meal planned before checking the weather!)
Tuesday: Chicken and green bean Alfredo
Wednesday: Crockpot Swedish Meatballs
Thursday: Homemade Mac & Cheese per the recommendation of Iowa Girl Eats. I have a secret online blog crush (in a very non-creepy way, I promise!!) on her. Well, I guess it’s not so secret anymore, huh?
Friday: Shepherd’s Pie
