Meal Planning Monday...errr...Tuesday

Monday: We had Super Sliders, sweet potato fries, and fruit

Tuesday: Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup
As I was huffing and puffing along on my run this morning I could see my breath and decided that tonight would be the perfect night to try this -- our first soup of the season!  I'm giddy with excitement at the thought of crisp fall days, Pumpkin Spice Lattes, and SOUP!

Wednesday: Southwest Egg Rolls

Thursday: I'm having dinner with the coaches' wives, so J and the kids will be having Creole Burgers.

Friday: Bacon Ranch Slow Cooker Chicken (a carry-over from last week)

Saturday: Probably Papa Murphy's Pizza after the big ISU/Iowa Game (Go Clones!)


PS We had a great Labor Day weekend.  I'm thinking about starting a petition to have all weekends extended to 3 days.  That way we'd have 2 days to rest and have fun, then 1 day to get things done.  That was the breakdown of my long weekend anyway.  Plus! If every weekend was 3 days, then maybe we could all actually rest on the Sabbath.  Who's with me? 

PPS  My mom emailed me these pictures of Cam and Kai and I've been giggling at them all day.

Sounds like a yummy menu. I am going to see that soup recipe..it sounds delicious!
