A {school} day in the life...

In 3 days my kiddos will be done with preschool (Addi, for good. I might cry.) and we'll begin the lazy days of summer yet again.  I can't wait.  Let me say that again.  I CAN'T WAIT. Without a doubt, the arguing, pestering, and mom-I'm-bored's will arrive promptly on Monday morning. I'm being proactive this year and coming up with a daily schedule, a few delegated chores, and a list of boredom busters. And before the memories of busy mornings and jam-packed days escape me, I wanted to take a minute to write out what our typical weekday looks like around here during the preschool year.  I do realize that one day, not long from now, I will look back on this post and thing, "Awww.  Those were the days." But for now? I'm over it.  Over the rushing. Over the tired mornings. Over loading kids in and out of the van. Over hurried lunches and snacks on the go. Over early bedtimes. I long for lazy mornings, lunches on the deck, the smell of sweaty kids, popsicles on the porch, afternoons at the pool, and late evenings at the ballpark.

Goodbye old school schedule.

Wow! You accomplish a lot of amazing things during a typical day!! When you say 'work'... Do you work from home in addition to raising your sweet babies?
