The boys are back in town...

That's right folks, I'm blog-jacking once again. My dear wife has no idea that I'm posting this, as she is ever so sweetly laying bed falling asleep.  Here's what you need to know.
1. Monday, I left the house at 7:00 am and didn't return home until 9:45 pm.
2. Tuesday, I left the house at 5:50 am and didn't return home until 9:30 pm.
3. Baseball has officially started, it's not like I'm just running out on her!
Now in this time, not only has my Queen managed to complete her work with 4 yahoos under foot, but some how, she also has managed to prepare the preschool packets, get groceries, keep the house clean, attend a preschool board meeting, and bath said yahoos.  She is completely amazing!
I have tried my best to make sure she knows that, but honestly what can a husband do to really "show" his wife she is the Queen of all Queens?  His one and only?  And that his world is a such a better place simply because she is the center of it?
I've tried a few things already, putting the dishes away (without being told mind you), trying to pickup after my late night meals, attempting to keep my part of the bathroom clean, but somehow I just don't feel this is enough.
Bloggians, I am now turning to you. If you know me at all, you know how absolutely special my wife is to me.  You know that she is my world and that I am a better person everyday because of her.  Well it's time to pay her back.  I'm looking for ideas/ways that I can "better" show my love/appreciation.  This is where you come in.  I'm looking for ideas people.  Most, not all, of you are ladies, and who better to assist me in perfectly showing my Queen how much she means to me?
So please post your ideas, anything goes at this point.  Keep in mind, my Queen does not like the following as gifts, and I know from first hand experience on almost all of these things: flowers, jewerly, Brian Urlacher jerseys, sports memorabilia, clothing (when I pick it out, something about her being the one with taste I think), or more little Starrs running around.  She does however enjoy: iced animal crackers... and well, that's really the only thing I've EVER gotten her that has worked out.  So again, PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
Feel free to post the ideas and I'll see if I can't accomplish whatever you come up with.
Thanks, and happy blog-jacking!

J., If I've told you once, I've told you a thousand times Tiffany jewelry and Ugg boots.

J, what a great post! That would have done it for me! BUT...How about a massage, a gift card or a card just saying how you feel? Wow Missy is tough!! Hang in there!

what a lovely post! I think a night away at a hotel or bed and breakfast!
Massages, pedicures, money to go shopping for the day, or a suprise trip are always nice as well!
Good luck!
I am glad you learned your lesson from the jersey incident! :)

Spa package would be nice...or just a pedicure or facial. Something like that is always great--a break from kids and life in general for some much needed pampering.

Take her somewhere. It doesn't have to be overnight or further than your backyard. Just take her somewhere where you can talk and she can unload (and of course you listen). Gifts are fab, but fade in value. I guarantee she wants YOU. Time with you without interruption. Set up a late nigh snack... 11pm picnic in your room. And enjoy quality time with your Queen.

(a tiara would help as well.) :)

Arrange for someone to watch the kids for her so that she can go do whatever she wants. Time away by yourself is priceless when you are raising little ones.

how cute is this?!?! If it were me, I would want a gift card to get a massage or a mani/pedi. Or a free day to myself to get the mani/pedi, go to lunch & go shopping!

For Christmas, my husband got me a cleaning lady. He was really worried I would be offended. Believe me, I was not. I think it is the greatest gift ever for a busy mom of four. Coming home to a completely clean house is wonderful.
