End of the week links....

1. Don't ask where I find this stuff.  Just watch.  This kid The passion he has for his candles can only be equated to the passion I have for my children. God bless him.

2. I admit it. I'm a "no" mom. The word just seems to roll off my tongue and usually for no good reason, other than it just seems easier at the time. {This} is a reeeeaaalllly great read and has inspired me this last week to work on saying "yes" more.  I'm pleased to report that it's been much easier than anticipated.  You know what else I've found? We're all happier when I say "yes." The last thing I want is for my kids to feel as though they are inconveniencing me. The "no's" and deeps sighs have their place, but it isn't follow a request to build a fort, to play with play-doh, or to wear a swim suit in the bathtub.  Like Gina says, "The world will do a fine job of saying no to our kids, don't you think?"

3. I ordered one of {these} this week and even though she doesn't know it yet, my little Kai Pie is going to love it!

4. We walked out of Costco last weekend with a ton of good loot.  But, hands down, our favorite so far has been these Brothers-All-Natural Fruit Crisps. I like them, J likes them, the kids like them.  Heck, even the dog likes them.  True story. I found him hiding under the kitchen table this morning with a bag in his mouth after I was called away to referee a fight involving a butterfly net, a toy microwave, and the baby's head.  Don't ask.

5. I am so doing {this}. Genius.

6. Our kids aren't quite to the daily chore phase yet.  But I'm bookmarking {this} for when they are. Pretty slick, right?

Happy Weekend-ing!
