Meal Planning Monday, Kaiah's baptism, and a picture pain.

It's back to a normal routine around here today after a fabulous spring break.  I'm more than a little sad that my hubby and partner in crime isn't home with us again, entertaining children and teasing me.  It was so refreshing to have during-the-day adult interaction and his helping hands, not to mention that he was a rockstar and dominated his "honey-do" list. I realize that not everyone is lucky enough to have a spring-breaking husband, so I'll try not to feel too sorry for myself.  Sooo, I got my meal plan done early today in an effort to start this week out on the right foot.  Here's what's being served in Casa de Starr this week.

Monday: Taco Pasta Salad (a carry-over from last week)

Tuesday: Chicken, Ranch, and Rice Soup

Wednesday: Pioneer Woman's Sour Cream Noodle Bake and salad.  For me?  More salad, less noodle bake. Gotta watch this girlish figure 4-months-postpartum-and-still-carrying-my-baby-weight figure.

Thursday: Southwest Egg Rolls.  Definitely a staple around here lately.

Friday: March Madness Party with some dear friends (Buffalo Wild Wings and adult conversation?  Yes, please.)

Saturday: Salsa Chicken and Rice (also a carry-over from last week)

Yesterday we had Kaiah baptized at our church.  As I was preparing brunch for after the service I found myself getting a little teary eyed. Both J and I grew up in our church, were married there, and now all 4 of our babies have been baptized there.  Yet, somehow I think that our story in this church is just beginning. God is doing BIG things in this church and with our family.

It was a fantastic day and we felt so blessed to have most of our family celebrating with us.  A huge thank-you to our families who have supported us and these 4 little people.  We think your love and encouragement is pretty amazing.  Here are some pics from the day.

And since I've already sang (sung?) his praises, it's time you know the truth about my husband.

He's a pain-in-the-youknowwhat when it comes to picture taking.  You'd think that getting 4 kids under the age of 5 to look at the camera and smile would be the difficult part, right? Nope.  Not for me.  J is the real challenge.  See?

I guess it's a little funny now.  Yesterday, though?  Not so much.
