Christmas Catch-up the easy way...

Lots and lots of Christmas goodness to follow.

It was with mixed emotions that we celebrated Christmas in Story City this year.  It was our first holiday with out my Gramps, his smiling eyes, quiet laughter, and popcorn. No doubt he was watching over all of us and enjoying his first Christmas with the King, himself.

{thanks to my mom for the photos!}
Christmas Eve was spent with my family.  We went to Church and then back to my parent's house to eat and open gifts.  Last year's highlight was when my brother Brian proposed to Danielle.  This year's excitement?  The barn my dad made for Elijah.  It's awesome!

Christmas morning we did Christmas with just the 6 of us.  There were lots of presents, a breakfast casserole, and cinnamon rolls. The kids played, J assembled gifts, and I just soaked up the laughter and happiness.  My heart was as full as it's ever been.

J's Grandma's house was our next stop.  Christmas afternoon was spent with J's extended family.  We did our annual gift exchange game, ate and played.  It was a blast, but you'll have to take my word for it because I didn't take any pictures.

Our final Christmas celebration was on Sunday the 26th with my dad's family.  They made the quick trip from Minnesota and we loved every minute of our short visit.  Rather than sharing my pictures from the day I'm going to show off a couple of Chandra's and send you on to her blog for more. Also, check out Jenni's blog for even more! Their photography skills put mine to shame.

{thanks, chandra!}
