A no good, very bad first day

On Wednesday morning I sent Addison off to her first day of 5-mornings-a-week preschool. She loves it, can't stop talking about her "new classroom" and we've already received an email from her teacher telling us how she "loves Addi" and how Addison is "just a delight." Yep, that's our Addi girl.

Elijah then followed suit on Thursday, starting off his preschool career 2 mornings a week.  To say he had a bad morning would be an understatement.  I've decided to just leave it at that and not blog much more about it, in hopes that next week will bring fun and smiles, rather than fear and tears.  Then, his no good, very bad first day will be a distant memory.  {A mama can dream, right?!?}

I did, however, manage to get a few good "first day of school, on the front porch" pics before things started to go downhill.

 On a much happier note: it's the weekend!  We plan on spending it hanging out, cheering on the Cyclones, and not talking about preschool.

Happy weekend!

I love it when their back-packs are bigger than they are! :)

Oh Missy... my little Luke starts next Tuesday and he's none to thrilled about it! I'll say a prayer for you and me both! Thinking of you!
