I've been meaning to share this recipe now for quite sometime, as it has quickly became one of our favorites. In my opinion, it's almost the perfect meal...super easy, freezable, quick to make, includes some veggies, and has just a little bit of a kick. It really leaves very little to be desired (except a pic, which I keep forgetting to take).
So, here she is:
Spicy Sausage Pasta
1 pound turkey kielbasa, cut into thin slices. (Can I be honest? I have NO idea what "kielbasa" is, so I like to use smoked turkey sausage.)
1 can Rotel
1 cup cubed colby jack cheese
1/2 cup Italian dressing
12 ounces rotini pasta, cooked
Freezing directions: Brown sausage. Place sausage, Rotel, cubed cheese, and Italian dressing in a gallon freezer bag. Label and freeze.
Reheating: Thaw (I usually just put in the fridge the night before or out on the counter the morning of.), boil pasta, add contents of bag to pasta.
There you have it. Easy peasy. Enjoy.
