Wow, you guys are awesome! Thanks so much for your responses to my skinny jeans dilemma. Your encouragement is just what I need to take the plunge. The girls and I are headed to the mall tonight while my boys are at the Ankeny FB game, so I may just have to try some on for size. I'll let you know how it goes.

Speaking of Twitter, yesterday I tweeted that I was making this fall's first batch of soup, Bacon Potato Chowder. Soon after that tweet, I had a request from Liz to share the recipe (and I use that word loosely) to this family favorite. So, Liz, this is for you:
Bacon Potato Chowder...the real recipe and my changes:
1 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled (I just use the pre-cooked, pre-crumbled recipe pieces)
2-3 cup new red potatoes, cubed
1 cup chopped onions
8 ounces sour cream
1 1/4 cup milk
1 can cream of chicken soup
1, 8 ounce can corn, drained
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. thyme
Mix in crockpot. Cook on low 8 hours or on high for 5 hours.
I usually almost double the recipe, that way we have leftovers.
