This past one was particularly quick and busy.
Here's a quick recap:
On Friday night Addison and I enjoyed our 2nd annual girls night out with my friend Liz and her daughter McKenna. We started the evening with dinner at Old Chicago, then made our way to Wells Fargo Arena for the night's main event, ::Sesame Street Live: When Elmo Grows Up.:: We had a great time. And as always, it's fun to hang out with good friends! I suspect these two little girls will grow up to be as good of friends as their mommies.
Saturday's highlights included: a graduation party, a good nap, dinner at the Hy-Vee deli, and a trip to Home Depot. Yep, we're wild and crazy like that.
After Church and brunch at my parent's on Sunday, J and my brothers installed our invisible fence -- in the rain. It was a labor of love, but Ty really likes his new found freedom. And we like his inability to chase down the mail lady, speeding rabbits, or any four-legged friend that wanders by.
And, to top it all off, my friend Jerianne tells me that this week is going to be nice and warm. Sunshine makes this single parenting much more do-able!
We're off to enjoy the sunshine at my parent's. Later gators.
