Pregnancy Q & A...

  1. How are you feeling? Great! Really, really great 98% of the time. Keeping in mind that I really like being pregnant and I've been blessed with relatively easy pregnancies (*knock on wood*), I don't have much to complain about. Sleeping has become a little more difficult in the last couple of weeks, mainly because I feel like I'm dying of heat and my nose is constantly stuffy. Really annoying. Other than that, no complaints here -- besides the fact that I feel huge. My thighs are huge, my ankles are swollen, and of course the belly has taken on a life of it's own.

  2. Are Cravings? Always. :-) Folks, I like to eat. Lots. No real cravings, per se, but I do really like anything "buffalo" flavored...salads, chicken strips, etc. Also, not sure if I'd consider it a craving, but I'm loving me some avacados these days.
  3. Do you know what you're having? Boy or Girl? Nope. This is our little surprise baby...in every sense of the word. :-) I thought it would be really tough not finding out, but it has actually been much easier than I anticipated. In fact, some days I forget I'm pregnant! Everyday the anticipation grows. I'm getting sooooo excited to meet this little peanut!
  4. Do you have "a feeling?" I wouldn't call it a feeling, but I think it's a girl. No idea why, but that's my guess. And, as my mom pointed out, I am carrying relatively high (like I did with Addi).
  5. Do you have a preference? No preference, just a healthy baby. On one hand, I'd love for Addi to have a sister, but then again, I'd love for Eli to have a brother & for Addi to be the only girl like I was. Guess it's a win/win situation.
  6. Do you have names picked out? Kind of. We have a definite girls name, but when it comes to boys names -- we got nothin! So, we're open to suggestions. Please, name our baby! :-)
  7. How much weight have you gained? Too much. Did you seriously think I was going to answer that?
  8. Will you have more kids? Ah, the million dollar questions. The answer? I have no idea. We're not even discussing it at this moment. However, on the advice of someone very near and dear to me who found herself in this very situation several years ago, we won't be doing anything "permanent."
  9. What is the best thing about being pregnant? Feeling the baby move. I love, love, love it. And this little babe certainly has his/her brother and sister beat in that category. I'm tellin' ya, this is one wiggly baby.
  10. What is the worst thing? Feeling a little "restricted." Right now I'm getting to the point where Addi and Eli can't sit on my lap comfortably and it takes every ounce of strength just to roll from side to side in bed.

That's about all for now. Keep those questions comin'...I love baby talk!
