I know, I know....I've been horrible about posting lately. Not a whole heck of a lot going on here. Just trying to enjoy the season and cross things off my Christmas list. The kiddos are doing great & Addi, in particular, just can't wait to tear in to those presents under our tree. She keeps asking, "Open presents, RIGHT NOW?" Poor girl. As for me, I can't remember ever being so excited for Christmas! I can't wait to see her eyes light up on Christmas Eve during the candlelight service, or on Christmas morning when she sees that Santa has eaten all the cookies and left lots of presents. It'll be just like the commercial....PRICELESS!
This morning we're headed off to Addi's first "Christmas Program" at school. Should be interesting. She's been practicing her Christmas carols & is actually getting pretty good at Jingle Bells.
Elijah had his 4-month well baby check-up yesterday and has been declared "perfect." I knew this all along, but it was nice to have Dr. Schutte confirm. He's weighing in at 15 lbs. 3 oz. (just as a comparison, Addi was 15 lbs. 7 oz @ 4 months) and is over 25 inches long (Addi was 24). The funniest part is that his head is measuring in the 25th percentile...all along I've been thinking that he has a big head. Guess it's just round.
As you can tell, I've been a little camera-happy lately, so here's the proof...enjoy...
Addison loves to help Mommy "cook"
My lil blue eyed baby
Addi is having a great time playing dress up with her baby brother. I have a feeling that this is only the beginning. Truth be told, she comes by it very naturally. I have vivid memories of making my brothers wear dresses, hair bows and make-up.
(Addi put her headband on Elijah. He looks great in pink sparkles, doesn't he?)
