The story of our family in the making...

It's a crazy life...

Friday, August 5, 2005...We had a routine weekly visit with Dr. Ross, four weeks before my due date. To our surprise, I was dilated 3 to 4 cm dilated, 90% effaced, the baby was at zero station, I had a bulging bag of water and was contracting every 6 minutes. After a few minutes of sheer panic, our families were called and I was wheeled off to the hospital in an effort to try and stop my labor so that we could make it to J's sister's wedding the following day. Hours later I was laying on my couch at home, stressing about everything that needed to be done and missing the wedding rehearsal and dinner. My parents were a huge help and came over to help get things ready (baby clothes washed, house cleaned, etc.)
